The must is racked off during fermentation and pumped over the skin cap. The wine is placed in stainless steel tanks to complete the malolactic fermentation process. Aged 12 months in small French oak barrels, the wine is then transferred to large Slavonian barrels for an additional 12 months aging prior to bottling.

DESCRIPTION
Color: Deep ruby red with garnet hues.

Fragrance: Blackberry, crushed violets, licorice, leather, tabbacco and spice.

Taste: Elegantly structured and full-flavored with notes of dark fruits, Morello cherry, coffee and balsamic with a long-lingering and persistently lasting finish.
